What is a dowsing pendulum?
The divinatory pendulum or dowsing pendulum is a tool used in several fields such as dowsing, divination, hypnosis and many others...
Its role is to amplify and assist the practitioner in their search for information.
The pendulum has several functions:
- The "receiver" pendulum: This pendulum prioritizes the quality of receiving information to the questions asked. It captures surrounding energetic vibrations and acts as an antenna. Used for divination and mediumship.
- The "transmitter" pendulum: It can also receive, but its primary quality is to emit energetic vibrations. Generally used in dowsing.
- The "transmitter/receiver" pendulum: Possesses the qualities of the first two mentioned above.
The different types of pendulums:
- The wooden pendulum: It is a very good conductor of energy, but also a neutral material. It is often a very good "receiver". The wooden pendulum discharges energy quite quickly; its advantage is that it doesn't accumulate too much, so there's no need to energetically cleanse and recharge it.
- The metal pendulum: It is both a "transmitter" and a "receiver". Metal is very insensitive to currents, which makes it easy to use. Like the wooden one, it requires no energetic cleansing or recharging.
- The stone pendulum: It is a very good "transmitter". This pendulum can be chosen by affinity with the stone or by color preference (chakra). Unlike the wooden and metal ones, the stone pendulum accumulates a lot of energy, and its energies can be negative. It will therefore need to be energetically cleansed and recharged (palo santo, flower of life...).
